Have you tried the viral Indian food, Pani Puri? If not, you’re in for a foodie trip! I recently had lunch at Desi Palace and couldn’t wait to share my yummy experience. Let’s try!

Pani Puri

I finally tried Pani Puri, and it tasted just as delicious as I expected. The curry-flavored mashed potatoes and chickpeas were fresh and the crackers were crunchy, making it the a great comfort food.

Butter Chicken Masala

The butter chicken masala was another highlight. Served hot with fresh butter naan, the consistency of the soup was comforting. The authentic spices made every bite a delightful experience.

Mutton Biryani

Being a biryani lover, I had to try their mutton biryani. It did not disappoint! The flavors were rich and satisfying.

Mango Lassi

Their mango lassi, while similar to a mango shake, had a unique twist in syrup. It wasn’t just the usual taste; there was something different that made it stand out.

Malai Kulfi

The malai kulfi ice cream was my favorite! Its texture was thick and creamy, almost like a cake. The fresh, homemade touch added an extra layer of deliciousness.

How to Eat Pani Puri

For those who haven’t tried it, here’s how you eat Pani Puri:

1. Fill the cracker with the mashed potato and chickpeas mixture.

2. Add the sauces.

3. Enjoy the burst of flavors!

Why Visit Desi Palace?

The ambiance at Desi Palace is inviting, and the staff are nice. With an Indian chef, the food is authentic and incredibly yummy. If you’re in Makati, visit Desi Palace at GF Lerato, Malugay. Its worth it ☺️

Menu

I didn’t take a photo of the menu because it was a lot 🥲, with around 5 to 10 pages of options. It’s the first time I’ve seen a restaurant with so many choices, which is impressive.

Thoughts

From the butter chicken masala to the malai kulfi, everything I tried was delightful. If you’re a fan of Indian cuisine or just looking to try something new, Desi Palace is the place to be.
