I recently had the incredible opportunity to attend one of the hottests Pride Month events in Ph, and it was an experience I will never forget.

with TikTok Philippines co content creators, I was thrilled to join the celebration and immerse myself in the colorful festival.

The Event

From the moment I arrived, the energy was high. The event featured a colorful march filled with influencers and content creators from the spectrum!

It was exciting to walk alongside so many passionate and creative minds, all united in celebrating love and diversity.

The sheer number of attendees was staggering – thousands of people gathered to show their support and pride making it one of the biggest pride fest in the world!

Event Details

– PRIDE PH FESTIVAL 2024

– Date: June 22, 2024

– Location: Quezon Memorial Circle, Quezon City

– Pride Expo: 10 AM – 8 PM

– A space where organizations, sponsors, and LGBTQIA+ run businesses engage with attendees, showcasing their support and services.

– Pride March: 2 PM – 5 PM

– An empowering colorful march where the community shows their pride and amplifies their call for equal rights. (Sogie)

– Pride Night: 5 PM – 12 MN

– A night-long concert celebrating LGBTQIA+ identities and talents.

– Pride Food & Art Market: 10 AM – 12 MN

– A street festival along Matalino St., Quezon City Circle featuring food, merchants, sponsors, and organizations celebrating Pride.

Highlights of the Day

1. Pride Float + March: One of the most memorable parts of the event was the march. Spirits and souls were high as we paraded through the streets, our rainbow flags waving in colors. It was during this march that I experienced a minor crazy moment where – my shoes broke 😝😝😝 But even that couldn’t stop my enthusiasm.

2. Booths and Brands: The event featured big brands booths from various brands, including Tiktok, H&M, iQor, Canva, Garnier, Durex and many others! Each booth was beautifully decorated, offering freebies like T-shirts, fans, and even soap 😝 It was fantastic to see so many brands actively participating and supporting the LGBTQ+ and all from the spectrum.

3. Live Music and program: Throughout the day, live bands played in the background, adding to the festive atmosphere. The music kept everyone in high spirits, and it was impossible not to dance along with the lively beats.

4. Meeting New People: One of the best parts of the event was meeting so many wonderful people from the LGBTQ+ community. It was heartwarming to connect with others, share stories, and celebrate our identities together. I had a free hug from the guy holding a plackard 😝

Fulfilling Experience

Although it was a rainy after day, the weather couldn’t put a damper on the event’s joy and excitement. The rain added an element of fun and spontaneity to the after party celebration. Getting home afterward was a bit of a challenge, but the fulfillment and happiness I felt made it all worthwhile.

This Pride Month event with TikTok Philippines was not just a celebration; it was a reminder of the power of community, love, and acceptance.

The colorful displays, the enthusiastic crowd, and the supportive brands all contributed to making this an unforgettable experience. It’s events like these that remind us why Pride is so important – to celebrate our identities, support one another, and continue the fight for equality.

If you ever get the chance to attend a Pride event, I highly recommend it. It’s an experience filled with joy, love, and a sense of belonging. I’m already looking forward to next year’s upcoming celebration!
